The winch has two clutchable drums, allowing assistance over the bow or over the stern.

In the bow, two stainless steel towing chocks are fitted for working over the stern the towing gear is led aft, via a central tunnel under the accommodation to a towing guide on the aft deck.

The winch is remote controlled from the wheelhouse or by a portable control box from deck.

For ultimate safety, the winch has an emergency stop and a ‘let-go’ button
